Welcome to the Faculty of Science
How to make a successful start to your studies:
- Work through Starting at UQ to get set up for the semester. Use the Science Study Planner to help you choose your courses.
- Join the Getting Started sessions (or watch the recordings) to find out about enrolling & timetabling, Library services and UQ systems. These sessions run during January and February, along with a range of other university information sessions.
- Watch your program information video to hear from your program director about your degree structure and course choices. We recommend watching the video before Orientation Week (O-Week runs 16 to 20 February).
- During O-Week, go to your Science Orientation Day to hear from academic staff and current students (there are a range of other UQ Orientation events to explore too).
