For Dr Adrian Dudek, mathematics isn’t just about formulas and problem sets – it is about discovering patterns, beauty, and powerful ways to understand the world.
The discovery was underscored in one of his first University of Queensland lectures.
“The professor hastily scrawled an equation describing a beautiful connection between the square numbers and the mathematical constant Pi,” Dr Dudek said.
