A new decision support tool developed by researchers at The University of Queensland and Queensland Government is reducing the use of high-risk pesticides to protect waterways and the Great Barrier Reef.
UQ’s Reef Catchments Science Partnership researcher Hannah Mitchell said the Pesticide Projector helped farmers understand how their choice of chemical and its quantity affected the aquatic environment.
