On-location services
Our workshops provide general maintenance, repair, and installation services on-location at your UQ research or teaching laboratory or UQ office.
Our technicians have completed the required safety inductions.
Services we offer
- vacuum pump testing
- vacuum system service and installations
- vacuum hoses and component supply (clamps, flanges, O-rings, hose tails, etc.)
- laboratory coat hooks and racks
- acrylic pipet holder racks
- acrylic or PVC boxes of various designs
- acrylic light covers for various instruments
- supply and fitting of Swagelok fittings for various gas installations
- fully sealed melamine shelving (PC2 suitable)
- stainless steel trolley manufacturing
- stainless steel water bath cleaning and servicing
- laboratory benches and specialised furniture manufacturing
- Replace, service and supply spare parts for laboratory equipment
- minor office repairs and maintenance
Electrical safety inspections and removal
- carry out safety inspections and test electrical equipment
- remove items identified as unsafe.
