Our mechanical services provide technical design and manufacturing to support teaching and research at UQ.
We produce ultra-high precision work, light to medium industrial-grade construction, and fabricate to your requirements.
Our services include:

- Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)
- Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machining
- ultra-high and high precision machining for a wide-range of materials
- vacuum pump maintenance and testing
- Swagelok compression fitting
- Intricate spot welding techniques which includes platinum, gold and stainless steel
- high vacuum welding (TIG)
- electric welding (MIG, TIG & ARC)
- high temperature soldering and brazing
- grinding (surface, angle and off-hand)
- woodworking
