Engage in a formal research project over the summer semester with the UQ Summer Research Program.

You'll gain valuable academic and professional skills, develop links with industry and academic contacts, and have the chance to road-test research.

The program runs for 6 weeks during the Summer Inter-Semester recess (January-February).

You'll receive a grant for participation in the program. You can also count your participation towards attainment of the UQ Employability Award.

5. Application outcome

The Faculty of Science will provide you with an outcome on your application in late November 2023.

If you are successful, you may want to consider enrolling in a Summer Semester research course to gain credit for the work completed under the Summer Research program.
