The St Lucia Science Orientation Day coincides with UQ Market Day, where you can explore UQ Union's 200+ clubs and societies.
Market Day commences at 10am.

- a program-specific information session run by current students and academics to help you get started at UQ
- group activities where you will meet others in your program
- a showcase of student support services and opportunities
- free snacks!

Session 1

For postgraduate students commencing (Masters, Graduate Certificate/Diploma):
- Bioinformatics

- Molecular Biology.
Your day will include:
- welcome from your program directors
- welcome from the Head of School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences (SCMB)
- information about UQ's support services
- SCMB health and safety induction
- program planning session.
Session 2
12:45–4:30pm

For postgraduate students commencing (Masters, Graduate Certificate/Diploma):
- Conservation Biology/Science
- Environmental Management
- Financial Mathematics
- Food Science and Technology
- Geographic Information Science (GIS)
- Magnetic Resonance Technology (MRT)
- Mathematics and Statistics
- Occupational Health and Safety Science/Occupational Hygiene
