Infectious diseases are in the firing line of University of Queensland researchers, thanks to significant new funding from the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
The newly-funded projects will research how to tackle antibiotic resistance, test novel therapeutics to fight fungal infection, create tools to probe certain viruses and research the potential links between obesity and viral infections.
