Meet the presenter

Professor Bryan Fry is a world-renowned toxicologist at The University of Queensland's School of the Environment, with fieldwork across 40+ countries and over 300 published scientific papers. A survivor of envenomations and a catastrophic spinal injury, his high-risk expeditions have driven major medical breakthroughs in venom research. Most recently, he was featured in the "Pole to Pole" series hosted by Will Smith, where he shared his journey through resilience and scientific discovery.
