Can digital platforms help us move toward more sustainable cities?
The sharing economy has been gaining traction through platforms such as Uber, Airbnb and Airtasker as a novel way of connecting people as small-scale consumers and producers.
This event brings together various leaders in Brisbane’s sharing economy to discuss the benefits, and potential obstacles and challenges, to the sharing economy.
Speakers will present a range of perspectives on how the sharing economy provides novel solutions to various ‘wicked problems’ in cities, with a focus on how future developments can promote urban sustainability.
