New ARC College of Expert members appointed for 2023

The Australian Research Council (ARC) has appointed 94 new members to the ARC College of Experts for 2023, each to play an important part in assessing research proposals for funding under the National Competitive Grants Program (NCGP).

Comprising a total of 269 members in 2023, the ARC College of Experts plays a key role in identifying research excellence, moderating external assessments of research grant proposals and recommending projects to be funded.

23 academics from across The University of Queensland have been appointed or re-appointed, including five from across the Faculty of Science's School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, School of Mathematics and Physics, and School of Veterinary Science.
