UQ researchers are working out the best ways to collaborate across borders to help save endangered species.

A team, led by UQ's Professor Salit Kark and Dr Dibesh Karmacharya, Chair and Executive Director of the Centre for Molecular Dynamics Nepal, is exploring the importance of cross-boundary collaboration for biodiversity and ecosystem conservation in the Indian sub-continent and the Himalayas.

The work is part of an ongoing joint Nepal-India-Australia project, and represents an international collaboration between the Biodiversity Research Group at the University of Queensland (Australia), the Center for Molecular Dynamics Nepal, Kathmandu University (Nepal), the National Centre for Biological Sciences (India), the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and international colleagues.
