UQ Science Store stocks high-demand chemical and lab consumables to meet your day-to-day lab requirements

What we stock

We stock items including:

common high use chemicals
dry ice
plasticware (pipette tips,tubes, plates, flasks, sero pipettes etc.)
clinical waste bags
autoclave bags
sharps containers
spill kits.

We carry minimal stock of lab consumables to supply your immediate day-to-day requirements. We can't accept bulk orders.

Quantities

We only sell lab consumables in quantities less than a carton.
If you require multiple cartons, send your purchase order directly to the supplier using UQeMarket or UniFi Requisition.

How to order

View the UQ Science Store catalogue (PDF, 128.5 KB) for the products we stock.
Note the catalogue number of the product you plan to purchase.
Visit UQeMarket and login with your UQ staff details.
Search for your item using the UQ Science Store catalogue number and place your order.
Confirm where you'd like your product(s) to ship. We'll deliver your goods to the location you enter. It can be a manned delivery point or pre-arranged chemical cupboard.

Order support

Can't find your item?

If you've searched for a product by catalogue number, but can't find it, it may be temporarily removed because it's out-of-stock. You won't be able to order these items until they're restocked.
Try to find your item using the 'Refine' function or tick the preferred supplier box to display UQ Science Store results only.

UQ Procurement Policy

Delivery

St Lucia

We deliver Science Store products on weekdays (9am - 3:30pm).
We collect chemical waste on weekdays (9am - 3:30pm).
Your delivery may be delayed if the receiving area in your building is only open during certain hours.

Gatton Campus

We deliver Science Store products every Monday.
We collect chemical waste every Monday.
We'll need to receive your order by 4pm on Friday.

Off campus locations

For Herston, Coopers Plains, Greenslopes, Dutton Park, Chermside, South Brisbane, Indooroopilly, Pinjarra Hills, and Long Pocket campus:

We deliver Science Store products every Wednesday.
We collect chemical waste every Wednesday.
We'll need to receive your order by 4pm the day before your scheduled delivery or collection.
