Xiao-yu Lin

Hi! I am a second year Advanced Science student majoring in Maths. During my first year, I really struggled to decide what I wanted to do with my degree, or what I wanted to major in. However, trying a lot of science courses and getting to talk to lecturers at UQ really helped me with making a decision.

So far, I have really enjoyed trying different science courses, meeting people, and embracing the opportunities that being a student at UQ gives me, such as participating in UQ’s Summer Research Program and UQ Chorale.
