Shaun McAnally

I am completing my second year of the Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) majoring in Physics. I have loved every moment of my time at UQ as there is so much on offer to develop your skills in research while also having fun at all the social events during the year. Getting involved in courses such as SCIE2011 also allow you to develop your science communication skills which become extremely useful as you progress through your studies.

Once I complete my degree I hope to move into industry, working for companies who are solving problems which have the potential to improve the world in some way. UQ has provided me with so many relevant and exciting opportunities that a whole range of new doors have opened towards reaching my aim.
