G’day everyone! I’m a second-year Bachelor of Mathematics and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) student, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering – and absolutely loving it! There is an amazing variety of opportunities at UQ, particularly for Science students. I’d encourage all new students to get involved with clubs and societies, social sports, and professional networking events.

In my time at UQ, I’ve been lucky enough to be a Student Mentor at the 2018-2019 UQ Young Scholars Program, give back to the community as a member of UQ Volunteering, and enjoy a quality chicken parmigiana down at the Toowong Bowls Club with my mates at one of the fabulous Mathematics Students Society events.

When I’m not proving mathematical theorems, I’m either having a hit of tennis with mates, banging out some chords on the guitar, engrossing myself in one of Agatha Christie’s crime novel masterpieces, or dreaming about new places to travel.

UQ is a brilliant place to study, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I know you will too, and I hope I can help make the transition smoother for you! Feel free to give me a buzz if you’ve got any questions or just feel like a chat.
