Marley Chia

I'm in my third year of Physics and Chemistry, though I'm still doing second year Chem courses. I'm a member of the UQ Science Demo Troupe, PAIN (Physics club), and the UQ Mountain Club (UQMC).

To be honest I have no idea where I’ll end up in science, whether it be research, industry, or education. I’ve always loved to learn about how the world around me works – to explain the wonderful phenomena all around us that we take for granted. Physics and chemistry to me are highly intertwined, and I believe that in the future whether I’m in the area of physics or chemistry, my knowledge of the other field will come in handy.

In my spare time I love cooking, reading, and rock climbing.
