I’m a fourth year student studying a Bachelor of Mathematics/Science (majoring in Chemistry for the BSc component). When I’m not learning something new about maths or molecules, you can find me enjoying some downtime reading books, dancing in large open green spaces, or road tripping around the countryside in search of emus.

I chose to study a UQ because there was a huge variety of courses offered and plenty of choice when it comes to research options. Starting uni was daunting at first, but the more involved I became with mentoring and the advanced science program, along with meeting people in my cohorts, the more amazing the whole experience became.

I’m not entirely sure where I’ll go at the end of my degree and whether I’ll choose maths, chemistry or both. However, I’m happy to keep studying what I love, taking whatever exciting opportunities that come from that.
