Another $50,000 gift to support UQ Gatton students
Congratulations to the Gatton Campus for receiving even more scholarship funds for students studying in its related programs. In early 2021, the UQ Gatton Past Students Association committed an additional $50,000 in addition to the $50,000 they gave in 2020. Both gifts were matched by the Create Change Scholarship Match, effectively increasing the endowment by $200,000. This scholarship is for meritorious students who, because of financial, personal or home circumstances might otherwise be unable to enter full-time study.
Venture capitalist couple's $137,000 gift for UQ students

The gift was doubled by the Create Change Scholarship Match Program, creating a generously sized endowment. Thanks to Professor Joe Grotowski and the team at the School of Mathematics and Physics for partnering with Advancement to fulfil the donor’s vision!
